100S Cup: 11 Sept 2022

The weather forecast showed rain approaching so everyone had expedition in mind. The day was breezy with plenty of turbulence making smooth flying difficult and landing on the spot a serious challenge.  Sam lost his model on launch at the get go but fortunately damage was light. Everyone else struggled through the conditions and, surprisingly, there was lift to be found. At the end of the third round a few spots of rain were felt but Paul decided to press on with the fourth round regardless. The round went quickly and the equipment was packed away with great dispatch with all retiring to the cover of the pavilion for the delivery of the results.  Andrew was a clear winner with a perfect score of 3000 points.  Well done!
