This class is proving to be extremely popular within the club and it was great to see Loudon Blair out with his model for this event. 8 Pilots turned out for this competition with Keith having to leave after 3 rounds, as it was his wedding anniversary.
Again we were up on the top field and with a very light breeze getting decent launch height off the bungee was very important. A few tried too hard and pinged off before getting to the top of the line, usually resulting in a poor score.
After 5 rounds, nobody was too sure who had won, because there were at least 4 in the running. The scores were as below (1 discard allowed)
