The weather was with us yet again and it was an amazing day. The Pures competition started off before 9.00am with some very average lift but Sam managed to fly almost the full eight minutes. Flights continued in the same vein with one or two people getting away wile the rest were left in their wake. Tommy cruised to an impressive victory with some fine scoring.
A quick turnaround saw the electric models ready to go. The first round witnessed a midair collision between Tommy and Keith yet they still managed the top scores. Tommy’s model was unscathed but alas Keith’s model was damaged too badly to continue. Round 2 only produced one reasonable flight but the air improved for the final round giving everyone a good flight time. Paul won out through consistent scoring.
